Higher rank you have, more points people get for killing you; you receive less for killing someone.

Thats not random at all, thats how it works. 
if you are lower end player, you will gain more points for killing top players. 
if you will become one of top stat players, you will be in the same league and will earn less ponts again. 

this all makes sense, but not for players who cant play what well and cant raise on top of stats. 
I recommend to play more often against top players, gain more experience and it will be easyer to kill them and get more points. 

I understand what you are talking about. Everything would be fine, but I constantly monitor how many points and to whom drops out when I kill and when they kill me. It happens that a player who has 1000+ points kills me and they give him 2 points, and sometimes he gets exactly the same in one shot, finishing me 19-25.

People only recieve 2 points because they haven't passed the treshold of 200 frags, after that they only recieve big boy points. Probably to avoid players, who are super inconsistant to be in top page of highscores. After you pass 200+ frags, you start to get points in a much more higher rate (around 6-8 for your level/score players, and round 19-25 for top10 in stats.
